We collect minimal data to operate the service effectively:
- Aggregate usage data such as pages visited, device/browser information, and approximate location through Google Analytics and Cloudflare.
- Advertising or partner identifiers only if we enable monetization features in the future.
PickerKit has no user accounts. Lists, selections, and tool settings stay in your browser unless you explicitly create a share link or download a configuration file.
2. How We Use Data
We use this data to:
- Provide and improve the PickerKit tools and features.
- Maintain security and prevent misuse.
- Support future monetization features such as advertising or partner recommendations, if enabled.
- Generate aggregate website analytics through Cloudflare and Google Analytics 4.
We do not sell or rent user data.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
PickerKit uses:
- Local Storage for tool preferences, theme settings, and your analytics-notice choice.
- Cookies or similar identifiers used by analytics providers and, if enabled in the future, monetization partners.
You may disable cookies in your browser, though some functionality may be limited.
4. Third-Party Services
PickerKit relies on trusted third-party services:
- Cloudflare – for content delivery and security.
- Google Analytics 4 – for aggregate website analytics.
- Mediavine Grow / Journey or other monetization partners – only if we enable them.
Each provider handles data according to its own privacy policies.
5. Data Retention
PickerKit does not maintain user accounts or a server-side library of saved wheels. Share-link configurations are stored in the link fragment and are not sent to PickerKit when the page loads. Analytics providers retain data according to their own policies and configured retention periods.
6. Children's Privacy
PickerKit is suitable for general audiences but not directed at children under 13.
If we learn we have unintentionally collected data from a child, we will promptly delete it.
7. Your Rights
You may:
- Delete local PickerKit data through your browser settings.
- Opt-out of personalized ads or monetization-related tracking when such features are enabled.
- Contact us with privacy questions or requests.
